A Short History of Nearly Everything

This month’s recommendation come from Aspire’s designer, Alan Garland.

Deviating from the author’s usual genre (travel), A Short History of Nearly Everything, by American author Bill Bryson, is a popular science book that explains some areas of science, using easily accessible language that appeals to the general public. selling over 300,000 copies, it was one of the bestselling popular science books of 2005 in the United Kingdom. In it, he explores time from the Big Bang to the discovery of quantum mechanics, via evolution and geology.

TOAST TO OUR DIFFERENCES

Rudimental.


The increasing popular English Drum and Bass band, Rudimental have announced the details for their upcoming album Toast To Our Differences. Set to be released 25th January 2019, the band’s third studio album is sure to be another hit, the tracklist shows the sort of clout they have gathered since breaking out in 2012, with features alongside Jess Glynne, Major Lazer, Macklemore, Stefflon Don, Maleek Berry and Rita Ora.
