I MAY DESTROY YOU

Series Creator: Michaela Coel

I’ve just finished watching this excellent series from rising British star, Michaela Coel, and I can’t recommend it enough! Binge watching the 12, half hour episodes is the only way to go when streaming this enthralling, modern drama, expertly spliced with moments of comic relief through the deep, dark and painfully topical subject matter.

Written, co-directed and executive produced by Michaela Coel for BBC One and HBO, the series is set in London and stars Coel as Arabella, a young woman who seeks to rebuild her life after being raped and uncover the mystery of her assault.

Exploring race, modern dating and sexual consent, critics have praised the show's willingness to push boundaries, hailing it both brave and delicate.
