Based on the 1868 novel by Louisa May Alcott, Little Women follows the lives of four sisters, Amy, Jo, Beth and Meg, as they come of age in America in the aftermath of the Civil War.
Directed by the record-breaking Greta Gerwig, the first woman to be nominated for an Oscar for her directorial debut, Ladybird. Her take on Little Women will be the eighth film adaptation of the classic book.

Season 2 - expected to be based on follow-up novel 'Hidden Bodies' - will be released this December and see Penn Badgley reprise his lead role. Rumoured to be even darker than before, Deadline reported that the second season of the show “will follow Goldberg as his search for love takes him to Hollywood, where dreams can be made or shattered”
